At 5:30 p.m. on December 2, the banquet for the 40th anniversary of the China-Colombia diplomatic ties was held at Shanghai Peace Hotel.

Ms. Ruth Helena, Consul General of Colombia in Shanghai,Mr. Luis Diego Monsalvi, Ambassador to China and Ms. Tong Taili, commercial counselor in China,delivered a speech on the good relationships between Colombia and China at the banquet. President Duke of the Republic of Colombia also sent a congratulatory call expressing his vision of closer development in the future.
